In the early issues of Chris Claremont's run on Uncanny X-Men, Nightcrawler showed a weakness to sonic beams. They made him too disoriented to teleport of even think straight. But since this weakness hasn't been mentioned in recent appearences, it's unknown if this weakness was retconned and replaced with something else or completely forgotten. Hope this helps. There are many factors to answers this question that must first be found.

First of all, how many of these cards do you have? Complete sets sell for much larger dollar than the individuals, but individuals can sell for people trying to complete sets of cards.

Second, what condition are your cards in? If they are not near mint condition, they most likely are not going to sell. They aren't rare enough to be desired in any less condition at this point in time.

Third, where were you looking to sell them? Online auction sites like ebay have many sets of these cards. From following some of the auctions, they don't sell fast. The ones that do sell are near mint complete collections and sell once in a blue moon to hard core collecting fans. If you were going to go to a pawn shop or comic store, you wouldn't get much more for it than you would have paid for it in 1996.

Bottom line, they aren't worth much, and aren't very desired. It would probably be wise to hold onto them unless you're in dire need of spare change. Keep an eye on how they sell online, follow some auctions to price them for yourself.
