Short answer is that you do not.

But if your the persistent type i would start by taking the cover off and locating the two pipes that stick out like they don't go anywhere, they have been plugged and crimped closed. one is on the high side and the other is on the low.

Here is the dangerous part, you need to puncture the line preferably in a section your going to cut off like right next to the crimped section of the line.

when the system is drained, Using a pipe cutter you can slowly cut off the crimped and plugged sections of the pipes.

Using your favorite methods attach threaded connectors to those ends and mark the high and low sides.

Use a vacuum pump to remove the air from the line and prevent moisture from damaging the system.

Charge the system with your favorite government mandated coolant.
