Do HMV employees in Canada get an employee discount?

Yes they do but for some reason they get like 20% more than what a normal HMV employee would get in the UK =s

Here in Canada... HMV employee's get 30-40% off the retail price of Music, DVD's and GAMES. From what I know, the employee's are only allowed to make 3-4 purchases per month... but if you are a supervisor and/or manager the saving can be close to 50% off the retail price.. Customers can also get saving like that... you just have to know when and where to look. Alot of HMV employee's purchase DVD's, MUSIC, etc. and then sell them at a discount on E-BAY and Craigslist.

I actually knew of 3 employee's who were doing that when I worked in the Square One location i Miss.
