If you mean that whenever you start to type in the Answer or Ask box above, and it automatically suggests the history of what you typed, the only probable way to get rid of it is by deleting all of your internet browser's history. If that doesnt' work, then only not typing in the Ask or Answer box for a long time will make it go away.
To remove it clear cookies, search history and form data. After that it wont show in the search box.
To erase your Google history you need to click the arrow pointing down in a gray box next to your search box in your Google toolbar two or more times and then at the bottom it will say clear history and then you click it and it will delete all of you Google search history.

Right click inside the box and there should be an option to 'clear search history' if not go to your settings (or tools) at the top of your screen while the internet is open and there is a place to delete history there as well.
"Saved Form and Search History" will do it, unless if you are talking about the google toolbar. For google toolbar just click the down arrow box thing, then click on clear search history. You can also go to its options and tell it to clear it every time firefox is closed.
There is a feature that erases google history. It should be at the bottom of the list that comes down when you type in a word. It says "clear history".
You can click "answer", then enter questions in the box "enter question or phrase". Then you can find the question you wanted.

The question history is on the left, where the blue-edged box going down the website is. It's under the 'Question Tools' section of the blue-edged box, and it's called 'Question history'.
