It is called WikiAnswers because you can get Answers here in the Wiki style, which means anyone can edit the answers.

you might not know cuz anyone can edit it but there could be editors who check if the answers are right

You may want to ask this on Yahoo Answers (or better yet stay here and ask and answer questions on WikiAnswers instead of Yahoo Answers :-) I would guess that since you are the one who wrote the answer Yahoo is giving you the ability to edit or delete it, but is not giving you the ability to edit or delete other people's answers.

Yes, but I suppose that is because there is a lot of people on this site. Remember you don't have to be a supervisor to edit answers.

Anyone can answer and/or edit questions here. There are probably thousands of people who contribute to answers, some more frequently than others.

I am not sure why you cannot delete or edit questions on the answer site. I would try contacting the company and see if they could tell you more.

Why is this website's name wikianswers?
It is a wiki site where you get answers. A wiki is a site where the users get to edit the content. So people come here to get answers or to edit the content. On other answers sites, different people give different answers and the asker or other contributors may vote. But here, we use the wiki format and strive for one best answer for each question, even though different people edit the same answers. There are times, such as when Religion is the topic or the question calls for opinions, where there is no one best answer, so different people answer from their own perspective in the same answer.
