i don't know about your phone but with mine the end button stopped working as well, i just take out the battery and put it back in and it turns on on its own ...it stinks because you cant hang up the phone if you call some one on accident -_-
Shut up noob
Hold the power/end call button down until it turns off.
hold the power button, then hold the shut off button at the same time. then let go. wait for 2 minutes. then shut off your computer.. then turn it back on. then it will be reseted.
its in the left side under the carpet. if there is a button sticking out push it back in.
Look under the dash, in the center. It will be a black box with a white button. Just push the button back in.
If the whole computer completely shutdown, then you just need to press the power button again.
You cannot shut down someone else's cell phone via a text message. Cell phones don't have that kind of capability built in. Certainly something like that (a built-in or programmable "feature" that would another phone to shut down the phone in question), but it's not a feature most people would want on a phone. Why would someone want a feature like that? It won't sell. Could a parent use the feature? Possibly, but a parent who wants more "say" in the use of a phone by their children would be told to find another way to deal with a problem if there is one. And no one wants some clown to be able to send a text message to shut their phone down. Anyone who wants to shut down another person's cell phone (via a text message or anything else) is malicious. It might be considered a prank or joke by the person shutting down another's phone. Consider how you'd like it played on you by someone else. Would you? Thought so.
I just plugged it into my computer and restored it.
The on/off button but you will lose unsaved information and may also possibly damage your disks.
Just push down on it. if its not popped it will do nothing. if it is it will push back down
Usually, on any current cell phone, you can shut off the power of the phone, and then and take the back off, and then take the battery out, and then blow on the battery. That usually takes off all of the dust from the battery. After blowing on the battery, place it back in the phone, put the back on the phone, and then turn the phone back on. That usually works.....it works on my chocolate touch so good luck!
There is no separate switch for it. Pushing the light switch will defeat the dome and courtesy lamps.
