Two ways of knowing you have received a new message
- You will receive an email from Answers.com alerting you that "You have a message from [username of sender] on Answers.com."
- In the blue bar to the left of the page, just under your username, you will receive an alert: a white envelope followed by the words "New message!" Click on this to open the message. After reading the message, you have the option of "Reply" or "Delete."
Note: There is no sound alert alerting you to a new message on the site.
