The telephone country code for Serbia (including the capital, Belgrade) is +381, and you must then drop the trunk prefix 0 from the beginning of the Serbian number. Serbian mobile numbers begin with +381 6.

Thus, to call from India to a Serbian mobile, you would dial 00 381 6 and then the rest of the number.

Note, however, that if you are trying to dial a mobile phone from India that is currently physically located in Belgrade, you dial the regular mobile number the same way that you do when the mobile is at home in India.

(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)
