A domain goes along with the address of a website. Some choose free domains, such as www.example.wordpress.com . Free domains are domains from other websites that help you create websites. Paid domains are like example.com , example.org, example.me . They cost money because that would make your website popular, just like owning your own business.

Making a website

You can make a website by going to any of them shown above like Wordpress, Blogger, etc. Click sign up on one of those websites, choose a template, and start writing! Making websites and blogs are SO fun! Its like getting famous while typing!

In case you don't know what templates are, I will talk to you about it. They are designs for your website. They usually come with their own fonts, pictures and graphics. Some templates cost money, so stick with the free templates. You can create your own templates by going on www.Google.com and looking up template makers. That's how templates on some websites are made. You might be able to create one for a website-making website.

How to make money

Making a website and earning money is simple. Visit Blogger or any other websites and you will make money from it, only if it becomes popular enough.

Spreading the word

If you want people to come to your website, then start spreading the word a bit. You can put your website on Google, and tell people to look up (for example) Blog Insider or whatever your blog is named. Everytime someone clicks on your blog on Google, you might have to pay, or you'll get payed.

Publishing your website

You are now ready to put the finishing touch to your website and now publish it on the internet! Finish everything you type, then go to "Publish" or "Update" if you already published your website/blog, click "Update" next time you change something.
