a draft to great friends accidentally got red flagged, unseen since 2020 (my gmail shut as zero free storage was full). Just saw today, sending on iphone offered “remove red flag“ option. Not heard from friends by email longtime! Related? Hope this helps.
Yahoo mail only auto deletes the trash folder and there is no way to turn this off. The trash folder is emptied every couple of days.
Are you a Yahoo user facing the unexpected issue of Yahoo Mail not sending but receiving mail? Here are some steps that you can follow to troubleshoot it: Check for any typos in the recipient's email address in your email's "To" field. See that the email is not in your drafts. This indicates that your email has not yet been sent. Check that your email is not being redirected by filters or blocked by the recipient’s spam or blocked address list. If you use Yahoo Mail on your mobile devices, sign off and then log back into the Yahoo Mail app. Reinstall it if the issue is still not resolved. If you get a security verification while sending, then you must try sending a test mail using the desktop version of Yahoo Mail. Identify the problem as early as possible; it can be due to the sender's or receiver’s end. Try these fixes to resolve the issue.
I came here for the answer and was asked to answer my own question. Hmmm...

I believe the check mark at sign-in only keeps a user logged in for 2 weeks. Then, it auto logs you off the site and you have to sign in again.

That really depends on which email application you use.
The toolbar can be uninstalled using the provided tool with it; if you are using Firefox you right click the top bar to get to the add-on bar. From there you can disable it or uninstall it. There are also uninstall options on the bar itself. To get it completely off of a computer or laptop go to the "Add / Remove Program" option in the Control Panel and remove it from there. It will uninstall all facets of the Yahoo Toolbar.
