It may not easy for you to transfer music from iPhone to mac for free. ITunes doesn't allow you to do that, which means you need 3rd party software.

You will need to ensure that you have installed iTunes on your computer (you may have already done this as part of setting up your iPhone), all you then have to do is launch iTunes on your computer, then look under the tabs (file, edit etc). You will find an option to import music from your computer into iTunes.
