A twelve year old girl should exercise once a day for at-least 30 minutes or 1 hour.
I am twelve years old and very self conscious, i weigh 9 stone and the average for a twelve year old girl is 7-8 stone :/
Here are some exercises you could try doing:
Go swimming for an hour to start off with and if you find you like it and it works go for 2 hours ( i do )
You could try going to the gym for 30 minutes or an hour even just walking and jogging on the tread mill :D
You could go to different sports clubs or do after school activities like; hockey, football, basket ball and those things.
If you have nothing to do, go for a walk with your dog (if you have one) or if not go for a jog or a long walk or even ask your family if they want to play some athletic games in the garden or a near by park :D
But if you want to start eating rubbish like; sweets, chocolate, crisps and those things, think to yourself "wait why am i eating this junk its only going to make me even more fat and unhealthy"
when you think of eating rubbish think of fruit instead and remember you can eat as much fruit as you want and you can buy it cheep if you go to the right places.
don't be too hard on yourself but push yourself.
trust me its hard work at the time but you feel extremely proud of yourself after wards it doesn't happen straight a way it will take about 6 weeks to loose a 2 stone but it is worth it if you stick to this plan of mine!
