Yes & No. Gmail is web-based email and uses their servers IP address in outgoing mail so your individual IP address is not shown. Google keeps a record for 90days - if there is a need to find who sent the email - such as someone is threatening or blackmailing you Google will provide - via law enforcement - court order, the users IP address.
