I had a really bad experience with 9dresses.com. I ordered a dress on Jan. 19th. During the ordering process they ask when is the wedding. I made the mistake of being honest and saying Mar. 26. My wedding will be in Hawaii, so I did mention that I would be flying out on Mar. 23. I have learned a lot about this experience, because I now know how important it is to read the company information and guarantee policies, which I now wish I would have done in the first place. The company states that it will take 5 weeks to receive your order. It says that after one's order is confirmed, she will receive it in 16-23 working days. Well, it's March 9th and I still don't have my dress. I began emailing the company at the end of Feb. asking when I should expect my dress. They said that I would get it by Mar. 23rd!!! I wrote them pleading to send it a few weeks before and a nice representative told me that she had spoken to the production team and they would get it to my by Mar. 6, and that I would get a confirmation and tracking # when the order was shipped out. Well, on Mar. 4 I hadn't heard anything, so I emailed them again (by the way, there is no phone # to contact them, so you must depend on emails). The same representative told me that my order had been shipped out and gave me a tracking number. I checked the tracking number, which said that the order was completed and delivered...to Georgia. I live in Ohio. I became really enraged at this. I emailed the company again, to get a reply that they would be in touch and that they were sorry for the inconvenience. I waited a few days, with no word from them, so I wrote them that if I did not have my dress by Mar. 12, I wanted a full refund. The representative replied back and said that I would have the dress by Mar. 13th. This being a company based out of Beijing (another factor I should have researched before ordering) I really have no guarantee that I will ever get this dress or get my money back. So to answer the question, is this website reliable, I would say, "absolutely not!" Do not do this to yourself!!!! Go to a store where you can actually see the person and the dress.
It seems you have communication problems. I also ordered a dress from 9dresses.com and didn't have this problem. I had a very good experience on this site.
