No 'chat rooms' exactly, but I suppose Club Penguin is one. 2 sign up, first click the box next 2 'i agree to the clubpenguin rules', then continue. Enter your desired penguin name, for instance, mine is 'snowglu'. Then click a colour you'd like you're penguin to be. (don't worry, you can change this later on in the game) If the penguin name is already taken, choose another. Then enter a password. I must be easy to remember, as you'll need it every time you log in. Dont share it with anyone! Once you've done that, type in your/your perants/guardians email. (Make sure they know that you're using it first or Clubpenguin can ban you) Then it will say the activation email has been sent. When the email arrives in the chosen email address, the activation code will be there. Click on the link, and hey presto! You're playing. To make it completely free chat, follow the steps in the 'help' section. Have fun playing! :D

Virtual Family Kingdom is another one that is excellent and safe. Just click on the Play Now button on the home page to get started. Registration is easy.

Deadwhale- You can be any age on Deadwhale, sometimes people talk to you inappropiately I say this site is exactly 13 to get on.

Kidscom- Is a great site where you can get banned for doing anything wrong.

Kidzworld- Is a site for kids 9-14.

Toon Town- Is not a really a chatting site but it has three chatrooms.
