i think it's Sports Coupe
I've always read it stands for "Super Carrera", carried over from the 356's. Not all SC's were coupes, they also came in a targa top, just like the previous 911 models. That's a good guess though.
porsche 911 sc 1983
Porsche does not mean anything. It was the creators name. Ferdinand Porsche.
A 1979 Porsche 911 SC has an oil capacity of 8 quarts if completely drained. This is about 7.57 liters.
On a 1983 porsche 911 sc the oxygen sensor is located on the left side of the car, right before the catalytic converter. Tip: Removing the rear left wheel will make it much easyer to access.
If by found you mean Founded or Created Porsche, it was Ferdinand Porsche, Stuttgart, Germany, in 1931.
I paid $5200.00 cash for a new Kelly Green 1964 356 SC Porsche in 1964. About the price of a new Cadilac at that time. I purchased it from Vasek Pollak's Porsche store in Manhattan Beach, CA. It may have been Hermosa or Redondo Beach. Those cities all ran togather and it has been a long time.
