Recent Site Acticity is exactly what the words mean. The link shows the recent WikiAnswers activity made by users, guests, and the combination of the two. It shows what contributions were made recently by guests and regular users on WikiAnswers.

With the number of changes the site goes through every second, even the time it takes you to submit an answer and click on "recent site activity" will be enough to bury your contribution under newer ones.
It does, but once you actually click "recent site activity", your contributions are probably buried under others. There are many, many contributors on WikiAnswers. In fact, there may be 50-60 changes in a second!
On the left side of the screen under site tools, click on Recent Site Activity.
Find the list on the upper left of the screen. Then click on "Recent Site Activity" !
Check Recent Site Activity. It will constantly change, though.

It is not possible to clear recent site activities on WikiAnswers. That information is used by people on the website to help identify vandals and people who make counterproductive edits to the site. It is also used to see when people make good edits to the website.
This site changes billions of times a day. Just go to Recent Site Activity and watch how many changes there are. If you mean site-wide updates, these happen every couple of months.
