There is no area code 175 or 0175 in the UK. There are several 0175x (or +44 175x) area codes, but you need the next digit.

  • 01750 = Selkirk
  • 01751 = Pickering
  • 01752 = Plymouth
  • 01753 = Slough
  • 01754 = Skegness
  • 01756 = Skipton
  • 01757 = Selby
  • 01758 = Pwllheli
  • 01759 = Pocklington

Pickering, Skipton, and Selby are in North Yorkshire, and Pocklington is in the East Riding of Yorkshire, but none of those area codes is in West Yorkshire.

In international format, replace the trunk prefix 0 with country code +44.

(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)
