Country code +1 (dialed as 00 1 from many places) is North America, including the USA, Canada, and some islands in/near the Caribbean. You need the following three digits (i.e., one more) to be more specific.

  • +1 570 = Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA
  • +1 571 = Arlington, VA, USA (overlay of +1 703)
  • +1 573 = Columbia/Jefferson City, MO, USA
  • +1 574 = South Bend, IN, USA
  • +1 575 = Las Cruces, NM, USA
  • +1 579 = suburbs of Montreal, QC, Canada (overlay of +1 450)

(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)
