People put poor and bad answers for a few reasons.
The main reasons are that they do not know the answer or even understand the question and they think that no one else should.
This is called variously, ignorance, bad manners or immaturity
If you see such an answer you can assume the person that wrote it did so for one of the above reasons.
You can help by reporting such answers when you see them.
Click on 'Report abuse' at the top right of the answer page and a supervisor will be informed of it.
You can also report it in the community forum or leave a message on any supervisors message board.
