Things of notice:
1) Normally, your UK internet connection won't be accessable from Australia, you'll need to sign up with an Australian internet provider
2) Voltage wise, a UK computer (infact, any European computer) will work on the Australian power net, but I'm not sure wether the sockets will fit. Might need a new computer cable.

That depends largely on where in Australia you are. If you are in Sydney or Melbourne, it will be 9am in the UK. However if you are in Perth, it'll be 11am in the UK.
