There are no oceans in the U.S. or in any other country. Oceans are not located in countries, but between continents.

Well I am sure the writer of the previous answer wanted to provide correct terminology, I am assuming the answer was needed. I've provided the answer and a link.

Other important waters of the US:

by Florida you would have the Gulf of Mexico which is not an ocean, but an important body of water. by Michigan you would have the Great Lakes (Superior, Michigan, Huron, (Lake St. Clair), Erie, Ontario which lead to the St. Lawrence River to the Atlantic Ocean.


by Alaska you would hae the Beaufort Sea, Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska
