There are almost all types of sharks in the Mediterranean Sea, Newly there were discovered that the Great White Sharks have came into the mediterranean sea, Some years ago there were alot of people that got killed buy the great white in Egypt, and just about 1 week ago the saw a great white just outside barcelona in Spain, Tiger Sharks and blue sharks are also caught in the mediterranean sea, So i should say there are alot of shark types in the mediterranean sea. But they are mostly never people that get attacked of the sharks, they are often being kept out of the beaches and so on, so you shouln't be afraid of swiming in the sea:)
