Actually.... the first Hot Wheels car produced was said to be the Custom Camaro, but that has never been proven.
The very first Hot Wheels car ever made was a red modified Matchbox Mustang fitted with "new at the time" wheels with Delrin@ bearings and mandolin wire for the wheel axle.
