No they don't, I've shipped Chrysler 300 from the usa to Saudi arabia ; the catalytic converter turned RED after several fillups. When tried to replace it at Chrysler dealership the manager simply replaced it with a regular hollow mufller. But you have to live with the check engine light since the o2 sensor sends the wrong signal to the computer module.
