For instance when General Faninn lost at Goliad and General Urrea brought them in since Faninn gave up, by Santa Anna's all of them were to be executed. They people who were sick were shot in bed and the men that were well stood in a line and were shot at, at short distance. Or at the Alamo all the dead were put together in a pile and burned together. Now the woman and children were a different story. If the woman was pretty he would go to bed with her. But the others would just help around or be killed. One woman and her child and a slave went to Sam Houston to report what happen only because her husband had been important in the war effort the rest were prisoners and stayed there under watch until the end of the war at San Jacinto.
