I don't know a lot but I do know that in Norway, July 29 is a national holiday. The reason it's a holiday is because it is the day that Christianity was brought by (a) missionary.

They celebrate Christmas once every 45 years for the actual timeline of when Jesus was born. I know, Norwegians are awesome. no we don't... we celebrate every year:P at the 24th. December :D then we got 1 cristmas day and second.... Norway still rule!
