How many jades are there?

Jade comes in many different shades such as green, orange, yellow and white. Only two types of jade are considered real: jadeite jade and nephrite jade and usually sourced from Myanmar, Mexico and Russia. Jadeite jade is available in a variety of colors and yellow jade is known as bright translucent yellow.
