There is an app that will calculate toll fees anywhere in the USA between any two arbitrary address or points on the map, called Tolls USA (it's on the iTunes App store).
On I-76 to 1-78 it costs about twenty dollars in tolls, but it depends on the Bridge or Tunnel that is taken.
If you take I-80 you can minimize your tolls to a short 2.4 miles, which would cost less than $5 and it would be about a 5 minute travel time difference according to Google Maps. It also depends on what part of NY and what part of PA you are driving to. Of course the tolls for Holland Tunnel and entering NY via another direction are around $10 depending on the bridges used and the direction you are traveling in.

Turnipike tolls from Harrisburg pa to chicago
40 tolls at $2.50 each
When you come across the GWB - get on I 80 west all the way to I 79 south. You'll pay absolutely no tolls.
Depends on your route. And it depends on where in PA you begin your journey. If you are clever, you may avoid tolls the entire way. But the most direct reoute will cost you at least $35.
