It's not. Probably the most boring drive in Canada. If you want a scenic drive, don't take Highway 20 and 401, instead when leaving Montreal island on the 20 West exit to highway 338, then once in Ontario stick to highway 2 that parallels the 401. Should take you a few extra hours but it makes for a much prettier drive along the beautiful St-Lawrence seaway.
