Is Afghanistan developing or developed country?

Before the 1970s (before the coup and Russian invasion) it was a developing country on it's way to being a developed country. There were fashion shows, Pop Music, cars, modern buildings, and people going to work in suits and ties. Then the coup happened and then the Russians invaded and forced everyone to give up their religion and conform to communism. Then the US came and gave weapons to everyone and after the two countries destroyed Afghanistan with their fighting, the Taliban was created to get both the US and Russia out of there. Unfortunately the Taliban oppressed their own people.
Now the country is really torn up. I would say it is an underdeveloped country now.
