In Iran there were lots of civilization and they found oldest civilization of the world in Iran and it called <jiroft> you can look it up but nobody is sure yet., maybe some where in the world we will find an older civilization.

Sure it is.

Most people consider Persian Empire (around 600 BC) as the beginning of Iran as a unified nation; that makes Iran the oldest ever lasting country in the world.

However because of many major foreign invasions during the history (Macedonians, Arabs, Mongols, Tatars, etc) the country has lost its independence a ouple of times.

It was Safavid Empire -established in 1501- that unified the country for the last time and since then Iran has always been an independent state.

Of course, Iran dates back to 4000 years with a lot of history and culture. As it was once called Persia, it is home to one of the oldest civilizations. The Achaemenid Empire was founded by Cyrus the Great in the 6th century. Iran has had a lot more history and culture than the British.
