At one time Europe was considered to be a continent. Now it is considered to be a peninsula on the Eurasian land mass. It starts where the Ural Mountains in Russia meet the Arctic Ocean and goes along the ridge of the Urals to the Caspian Sea. From there it goes to the Caucasus Mountains and across them to the Black Sea. The border then goes to sea. It goes through the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic Ocean, and Arctic Ocean. It goes to the mid Atlantic ridge. It goes north to Iceland and splits it is half. From there it goes through the Arctic back to the Urals. Caucus
