Norway has been named the best place to live in the world by the United Nations. The U.N. scores countries on things like literacy, health care, social security, life expectancy, corruption and average wealth.

Norway came out with the best score overall because of its well educated (99% literacy rate), well paid (above European average) and well looked after population (free healthcare and gererous benefits).
