Sri Lanka is an island, and therefore has maritime borders with India and the Maldives. However, it does share a tiny land border (50 yards) with India on one of the many smaller islands between the two countries.

Additionally (but now irrelevant), the two were connected by land in prehistoric times, until the receding of the polar ice caps released more water into the oceans, flooding the land bridge.
