Michigan
Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin
Canada & the USA.
The state of Wisconsin shares a border with both Minnesota and Michigan. Wisconsin also shares a border with Iowa and Illinois.
Wisconsin shares its entire eastern border with Lake Michigan.
the border between Canada & the usa runs thru the middle of lake superior so these countries include their respective portions of the lake but the lakeshore is not the border & countries are more than just their dry land so technically no countries actually border this lake it is possible for countries to border lakes but such is not the case in this example
Indiana, between Michigan & Illinois
The state of Michigan borders on four of the five Great Lakes: Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie. Michigan does not border on Lake Ontario.
The Upper Peninsula of Michigan borders the state of Wisconsin.
there are no border states in Indiana but Indiana borders on the states of Ohio Kentucky Illinois & Michigan & of these Kentucky was considered a border state during the civil war because it was a slave state on the border between the north & the south & Michigan is considered a border state today not because it borders on Indiana which indeed it does but rather because it borders on Canada
Both Indiana and Ohio boarder the southern line of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, while the state of Wisconsin shares a border just below Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
The answer is either 7 or 11. It depends on whether or not you include the southern border of the Upper Peninsula (the part of Michigan which touches Wisconsin) or not. Not including the U.P., the southern border of Michigan (The counties bordering Indiana and Ohio) is made up of (from West to East) Berrien, Cass, St. Joseph, Branch, Hillsdale, Lenawee, and Monroe counties. The U.P.'s southern border is composed of Gogebic, Iron, Dickinson, and Menominee counties.
