Well you know northeners will say north and southeners will say south but I'll try to be as unbiased as i can (I'm from the north so i know it better but I'm not quite sure about the south. In the north there are the centers of our country: the White House, congress, the senate, the pentagon, etc. Also we have many of the great colleges of the country because the north (particulary the northeast) is college orientated. Also Massachussets (my state!) is pretty much our country's birthplace. Here is where Boston was blockaded by the british which made the colonies ban together to help out Massachusetts. The Tea Party, the first concrete act against the british happened in Boston harbor and lets not forget the first battles of the Revolutionary War were in, geuss where?, Massachusetts! Also the first 2 sessions of congress were in philadelphia. Not to mention the Liberty Bell and Plymouth Rock. And where do you think our country's fathers came from! We were fighting for our country's independence before the south was around so i'd go out on a limb and say the north is better. But come on the south is important too. After all they have Disneyworld!
