Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra of Haryana State in India is the biggest manmade religious Pond (sarovar) in Asia. It is believed that during the war of Mahabharta, Pandava performed the Pind Daan ceremony of all the Kauravas and other soldiers and relatives died in that war which lasted for 18 days. This sarovar is a beautiful place where pilgrims from all over the India as well as from abroad visit round the year.
