These three nations are part of the British Isles. Otherwise known as:
Scottish people live in Scotland. Welsh people live in Wales.
The can be called British, but depending on which of the three countries they live in, they could also be called English, Welsh or Scottish.
Welsh, British, Argentinian, Canadian, Scottish, New zealand.
If you are from England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland, you are British. But you are also English, Scottish, Welsh, or Irish. These countries are all part of Great Britain. It is similar to the way that someone from Texas is a Texan (and that woulld correspond to being English, Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish), but they are also American the way one in the UK is British. Those who live in the Republic of Ireland would, however, not call themselves British.
Great Britain, although Welsh people would say that they live in Wales, Scots would say that they live in Scotland and English people would say that they live in England.
Most of Scotland and England are on the island of Great Britain which is also shared with Wales. There are other smaller islands off the coast of Great Britain, especially in Scotland.
Wales has a diverse population consisting of people from various ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. A significant percentage of the population identifies as Welsh, while there are also communities of English, Scottish, and other nationalities. Additionally, Wales attracts international migrants and students due to its universities, scenic landscapes, and cultural attractions.
does he live
No one has to speak welsh. Some choose to and others chose not to i guess. My mother was brought up with welsh as her first language , my father was brought up through English and it was my mother who taught him to speak welsh. He probably speaks welsh more than he does English these days... so i was brought up through welsh (i live in south wales... although the north has more welsh speakers than the south - there are pleeeeeenty of people that live their lives through welsh in the south too) A lot of children attending my school have parents who don't speak welsh , however i know there are families who wish to send their children to private schools and so have to send them to English schools. so really... there's a variety. Some speaking no English , some speaking no welsh , some having the ability to speak welsh but chosing to live their lives through English etcetc...
Live; dw i'n byw yn Caerdydd means I live in Cardiff.
I know for a fact that people in Wales are called Welsh.
