What was Europe's response to American invasion of Veracruz?

Nothing really, as all of them were involved in the World War 1. It was however, seen by the British as a hasty maneuver by president Wilson, as it could have started a war between the United States and Mexico. This was badly seen, as there were many British economic interests that could be affected by such war, including oil and mining operations throughout northern and eastern Mexico.
