A co-worker of mine just took a holiday to merimbula, NSW and i argued the same point that merimbula is also the name of a large wooden xylophone-like instrument. Its been driving me nuts, but good to know that at least one other person in the world shares the same belief/illusion!
it is a line of wooden planks getting smaller for the higher notes
If you search up ''Merimbula hotels'' in a new tab, I guarantee you'd get a link to the hotel plan link. Cheapest prices may be there. Also local areas may be even cheaper.

Seadragons, Weedy or Leafy, only live in the kelp beds off the Southern coasts of Australia in Salty Water. Merimbula lake is not salty, so the Seadragons would not be able to survive. I hope this answer was helpful.
Hi I live in Melbourne and I'v done the drive a few times, the trip can be done in 2 full days.. If you want to see the coast I would stop along the way at maybe.. Batemans Bay, Merimbula, Lakes Entrance. Also I love Wilsons Promontory National Park. Phillip Island has some great beachers. There's alot to see. I would take the time to see it all. Or you can take the inland Hume highway it only takes 9 hours, but not much to see. Hope that helps have a safe trip.
It appears through history that Jamaicans were very musically inclined and they started out by making their own instruments from anything they could get their hands on. Here are a list of instruments: * Merimbula * Drums * Maracas * Triangles * Tambourines * Guitar (later in history) * Banjo (later in history) Jamaicans used anything that would make a sound including their own voices (not just singing, but making different sounds.)
