The Ostrogoth Kingdom primarily encompassed parts of modern-day Italy, including regions such as Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, and parts of the south. Additionally, it extended into parts of modern-day Slovenia, Croatia, and Austria. At its height in the 5th and 6th centuries, the kingdom represented a significant portion of the Italian peninsula and surrounding areas.
Charlemagne was famous for ruling in the first Frank (as in belonging to the French people) Kingdom. In terms of modern day territories, his kingdom was far larger than modern day France and extended well into Germany, Italy, the Low Countries, Switzerland, and Spain.

The Ostrogoths were a branch of the larger Gothic group, originally stemming from the region around modern-day Scandinavia. They migrated southward, settling in areas of Eastern Europe, particularly around the Black Sea, before eventually moving into Italy during the late Roman Empire. Their name, "Ostrogoth," means "Eastern Goth," distinguishing them from the Visigoths, who settled in the west. They played a significant role in the decline of the Western Roman Empire and established a kingdom in Italy under Theodoric the Great.

Three Countries that I know that honour Veterans Day as Remembrance day are: Canada, United Kingdom and Australia. Many other countries observe this day and most commonwealth countries still call it remembrance day.
They flow though several countries but mainly modern day Iraq.
