They were known as dacians and their territory was called Dacia. They had short -term relations with the dacian tribe of Celts (yes, the ancestors of today`s English) and wars against macedoneeans and bohemians. They has 2 wars against the Roman Empire, both of them lost, in 101-102 and 105-106 a.Ch under Decebal`s command. Roman emperor Traianus conquered Dacia.
