Why is the Caribbean sea important to Jamaica?

Seeing as Jamaica is located in the Caribbean Sea it's location is very important in many ways. The Caribbean attracts tourists who help the economy by spending money in the country they are in. Because Jamaica is located in the Caribbean it has products like bananas, coffee, and sugar that are traded and exported to other countries. Due to Jamaica's location it has a tropical climate. Unfortunately Jamaica is located along the hurricane belt of the Atlantic Ocean. When a natural disaster such as a hurricane hist it can cause extreme damage to the people of the area and the economy. The location of any country is very important to it's economy and the culture of it's people.
