No.
Hello morining
Yes.
No. They are completely different species.
Keeping a parakeet and a finch together would be a very, very bad idea. The parakett is a hookbill with a very strong beak and could easily kill the little finch. Especaially in a small cage. Even if the finch wasn't killed, he would be under constant stress from having to live with a much stronger and aggressive bird. I would NOT attempt this.
you don't
Yes! They are from Austrailia. The only type of parrot that does not have the dominant green! The only parakeet that can not breed with any other typeof Parakeet. There is tons of info on the web for them :)
Yes they can. They can also breed well in an appropriately sized cage (one pair to each cage).
FINCHES will eat a type of seed called WILD FINCH BLEND wich can be bought at any pet store, target or walmart. FINCHES can also eat spray millet, parakeet mix, finch mix, Japanese millet, green spray millet , and game bird crumbles.
This is a rare breed of bird and not much is known about it, but I'm guessing it's about the same as an Indian Ring-neck Parakeet, which is about 25 years or more, but not too much more.
maybe not . . .I think
No. Finches and parakeets are both commonly kept as pets, but they are not closely related. There are many different species of finch and parakeet, but they are not the same thing. Finches are of the taxonomic order Passeriformes (perching birds) and parakeets are of the taxonomic order Psittaciformes (parrots).
This is an excellent website just on parakeets : http://parakeet.yolasite.com/ It talks about how to care, breed, and train your parakeets.
