Yes! They check to make sure you aren't hooking up other repeaters to their network. They can block the mac address and make your wireless device rendered useless until you leave the base. Don't bother trying to find a work around for it because they are 10 steps ahead you. Once the mac address is blocked. It is blocked through the air as well. You won't be able to hook up to wired or wirelessly.

If their automated network thinks your wifi device is doing something malicious with your devices that have Web Browsers, the network will think you're doing something super bad. (file transfers...etc) and the system will block your device as well.

Remember it's a manned automated network system. If the wireless device with web browsers are not deemed malicious by the net comm guy behind the desk you'll be unblocked within 10 to 15 minutes.

They could care less what you are looking at on the net as long as you aren't looking like the bad guy.

What is the net force when encounters 15 N air resistance?

The net force would be the difference between the applied force and the air resistance. If the applied force is greater than the air resistance, then the net force would be in the direction of the applied force. If the air resistance is greater than the applied force, then the net force would be in the opposite direction.

When a N parachutist opens his chute and experiences 800 N of air resistance the net force on him is?

Net force = Force of gravity - Force of air resistance = weight - air resistance = mg - 800N.

What do you get when the force of air Resistance from the force of gravity?

The net force on a following object

What is the net force of gravity tension friction and air tension?

The net force refers to the vector sum of the individual forces.

What is the net force on a 1000-N barrel falling in air with an air drag of 400 N?

The net force on the falling barrel is the difference between its weight (1000 N) and the air drag (400 N), so the net force is 600 N downward. This net force causes the barrel to accelerate downwards according to Newton's second law (F=ma).

What is the overall net force of a skydiver?

The overall net force acting on a skydiver is the force of gravity minus air resistance. Initially, as the skydiver falls, gravity is the dominant force causing acceleration. As the skydiver gains speed, air resistance increases, eventually balancing out the force of gravity to reach a terminal velocity where the net force is zero.

What is the net force on a 1000-n barrel falling in air with an air brag of 400n?

The net force on the barrel is 600 N downward (1000 N - 400 N). This net force causes the barrel to accelerate downward as per Newton's second law, F = ma, where F is the net force, m is the mass, and a is the acceleration.

What is the net force that acts on a 10-N freely falling object?

the net force is 10N - it is acceleratiing with gravity - if no air resistance. If it falls far enough, eventually air resistance will balance the force and net force will be zero - it will fall at constant velocity and zero acceleration

An apple falls from a tree. The gravitational force on the apple is 1 N. If air resistance is 0.1 N what is the net force on the apple?

The net force on the apple is 0.9 N. This is calculated by subtracting the force of air resistance (0.1 N) from the gravitational force (1 N).

The overall net force acting on a leaf falling is due to the gravitational force and air resistance exerted on the leaf true or false?

True. The overall net force acting on a falling leaf is due to the gravitational force pulling it downward and the air resistance pushing against it as the leaf falls through the air.

What do you get when you subtract the force of air resitance from the force of gravity?

First of all, gravity is not a force, it is an acceleration. What you mean is the force of weight, which is the acceleration of gravity multiplied by mass (all forces are vectors, and gravity is not a vector.) When air resistance is subtracted from weight, you have the net force on a falling object (assuming those are the only forces acting on it.)

What is the direction of the net force on a falling sky diver before reaching terminal velocity?

If he's moving with constant velocity, then the net force on him is zero. The force of gravity must be exactly balanced by the force of kinetic friction between him and the air.
