A pay grade is a unit or range of compensation provided for qualified employment. A government pay grade varies by government and the position. A pay grade dictates how much money an employee can earn in that position.

How do we pay for our government
I disagree!
Army, Air Force and Marine Corps officers are called company grade officers in the pay grades of O-1 to O-3, field grade officers in pay grades O-4 to O-6 and general officers in pay grades O-7 and higher.
O5 refers to US government military pay grade. Enlisted soldiers are grades starting with E, such as E3. The lower the number the lower rank the person is. So a Private is E1. W grades are for Warrant Officers. O grades are officers. O1 being 2nd Lieutenant or Ensign, the lowest officer grade. You've asked for O5 that is a Lt. Colonel or Commander. Pay rate is determine by several factors Combat, Flight, Hazardous Duty, etc... Straight base pay for an O5 grade is $46,000 up to $76, 000 based on years in the military. This pay scale is consistent across all of the armed forces.
Do your homework, study for test, and pay good attention.
To be bad you will have to do poorly in your grades and work and you have to not pay attention to anything.
Because they are determined and bright. It's not that everyone can't get good grades; they can, they just have to try and pay attention.
I work at us steel's Fairfield works. The pay goes by pay grades 1-5. I work a pay grade 2 and our hourly pay is $21.41. I think grade one is around $19/hour but as I said, I work at Fairfield works and am not quite sure what the pay grades are at different locations. I would guess it was the same.
The Federal government is the level of government we pay income taxes to.
In 1970, the U.S. government pay scale was structured around the General Schedule (GS) system, which categorized jobs into grades and steps based on factors like responsibility and experience. The lowest GS grade, GS-1, had a starting salary of about $4,000 per year, while higher grades, such as GS-15, could earn significantly more, depending on step increases. Overall, government salaries were lower than private sector wages for comparable positions, reflecting the public sector's traditionally different compensation structure.
Unfortunantly, the Government. teacher's are not supposed to grade or look at the test.
