A pay grade is a unit or range of compensation provided for qualified employment. A government pay grade varies by government and the position. A pay grade dictates how much money an employee can earn in that position.
On the left side of the pay chart you have all the Pay Grades from O-10 all the way down to E-1. On the top you have the Years in Service guide, locate your current pay grade and slide you finger over to the column in which best represents you current amount of time in service and that is you current monthly basic pay without entitlelments.

They are enlisted and officers in the US Navy. As such their pay scale is the same as all the rest of the personnel. You can pull up the pay chart and using their rank and time in service to find their base pay.
