John Adams was born in Braintree, Massachusetts on October 30, 1735. He lived on the family farm with his parents and two brothers, Peter and Elihu. He was named after his father, whom was his hero. Although a gifted intellect, John put little effort into his schoolwork. He enjoyed almost all outdoor activities. Hunting was his favorite. Eventually, he grew accustomed to his intellectual side and went on to become a Harvard graduate.
