One of the most important events during Bill Clinton's presidency was the passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in 1993. This agreement aimed to eliminate trade barriers between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, promoting economic integration and trade. It was significant because it reshaped trade relationships in North America, influencing economic policies and labor markets, while also sparking debates on globalization and its impacts on domestic industries. NAFTA remains a pivotal moment in discussions about trade policy and economic strategy in the U.S.
One event was The 1998 Winter Olympics; they were held in Nagano, Japan in February. Another important event was the vote by the US House of Representatives to impeach President Bill Clinton, which occurred in December.
The president of the United States, Bill Clinton was impeached in 1998. He was never brought to trial for lying to a congressional investigation.
England adopted the Bill of Rights
I am not sure what you want to know. If the vice-president is not at the Senate to vote in the event of a tie, he does not vote and the bill dies. Senators have ways of delaying votes if it is to their advantage to do. If the vice-president's vote is expected to be needed to pass an important bill, the vote would probably be delayed until the Veep was there. If the president dies and the vice-president needs to be sworn in, he will be found and sworn whenever he is.
